    This pack contains two Radiator Isolation Stems complete with 15mm nuts and olives. All you need to completely isolate the water inside ONE radiator. When removing a single radiator or many with the isolation stems fitted you won’t have to worry about air in your heating system or having to top up with fresh water.

    The Isolation stems allow the removal of your radiators without losing any water. It eliminates time and money wasted refilling your radiator and heating system with fresh water and will also save you having to top up your central heating system with inhibitor.

  • No need for draining down or re-filling the central heating system.
  • The isolation stem is the connection between the radiator valve and the radiator
  • Continue to connect to the radiator valve to the stem in the normal manner
  • The isolation stems are ideal for redecoration or the replacement of an individual radiator
  • Once you have a radiator set up that is equipped with Radiator Isolation stem, removing a radiator will take minutes.
  • No more risk of mess or damage to walls and carpets when removing your radiators.
  • No more dirty black water on your carpets or walls (Magnetite!)
  • No need to bleed your radiators, as no water can escape from the radiator, then no air can get in.
  • Isolation stems allow the DIY’er or tradesman to isolate the water within the radiator for quick, easy and mess free removal
  • Another added bonus of using the Isolation stem is that there is absolutely no waste, which is good for our environment

    Installation


    Simply wrap PTFE tape clockwise around the thread of the stem (it is recommended that jointing compound is applied around the PTFE tape before connecting into the radiator).
    Install the stem into the radiator making sure that on the final turn the isolating screw is forward facing
    Two radiator stems required per radiator standard 15mm valve fittings to ½” BSP radiator fitting.
