    Will copper rust over time?

    Copper will never rust however it may tarnish over time if not cleaned regular. When copper discolors it will tarnish this is known as “copper carbonate”, it doesn't take away the strength of the copper and is easily cleaned back to its normal beauty!

      Can copper turn green?

      If left and no regular cleaning is taking place copper dispensers will before long change colour to a darker russet-brown. Under certain circumstances, it may even turn red, black or blue-green. These different shades are the buildup of copper carbonate. Patina is the name given to tarnish on copper and does not weaken the metal it's just unappealing!

        Care and maintenance: How do you clean copper dispensers?

        Cleaning copper is very easy. It is possible to quickly clean copper using a few materials you might already have using vinegar or lemon, rinse with warm water then dry thoroughly. To maintain a beautiful finish and protective coating after cleaning, apply a thin coat of wax, let dry then buff with a soft cloth!
