Prestige Black Straight Low Surface Temperature Towel Rail
The Prestige Black LST Towel Rail will thermostatically maintain the fluid temperature within the radiator to 43C. In the event of a total power failure, this LST radiator is pre-filled with an antifreeze solution.

What is the warranty of the radiator?
15 Years on the radiator and 2 years on the electrical element.
What is the timer function used for?
Basically the LST element has an ON / OFF button and 2hr heating button. If the user wants to turn the towel rail OFF after using it in the morning for example they can use the 2 hour timer function which will continue to heat - dry towels for 2 hrs and then it will turn itself off automatically, indicated by the red LED light. After 2hrs the element will then revert to antifreeze mode if the 2 hr timer function is activated.
Can this radiator be controlled by remote control?
Not by remote control but it can be controlled via the Towel Radiator Thermostatic Control Platen quick code 17808 product code: TCP200. Everything works in exactly the same way as the controls on the element itself. The 2hr boost button with the added benefit to use the full output of the element and also reduce the power in 20% steps. So if the element has a maximum output of 200W then the control plate can reduced this in 40 watts steps by pressing the minus button!
Can the element be tampered with to cause harm?
The elements cant be tampered with to cause any harm, the element has 2 functions - its either on indicated by blue LED light or its on the 2hr timer mode indicated by red LED light. Pressing the ON/OFF button again will cancel the timer mode function and revert back to 43C heating.
What if the element is turned off accidentally at the controls?
Providing there is power to the element, (hard wired) as soon as the temperature around the sensor falls below 6 °C the element will switch on automatically preventing the heating medium inside the radiator from freezing! Activation of ANTIFREEZE function is indicated by slow blue LED flashes every 3 seconds.
What are the NHS guidance for safe surface temperatures?
The maximum surface temperature for LST towel radiators should be within the 43C guidance at any part of the towel radiator. Our LST towel radiators have been tested by BSRIA UK who are the leading independent UK laboratory for testing and performance verification of a wide range of products.
Is the radiator protected against freezing?
Yes, this LST radiatior is pre-filled with antifreeze solution and also an inhibitor solution to protect the radiator from rusting internally.

All deliveries have a standard charge of £7.99 + VAT up to 20kg. Where stated, certain products are delivered FREE of charge (mainland UK only*). Check the description of the desired product and if it says free delivery then you will not be charged for delivery*

Delivery Times
All products will have a delivery time stated in their description. Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Please call if you require a Next Working Day and we will try our best to get it to you. Certain products will state within 48hrs, within 3 Days or within 5 days. These products will be delivered within the time stated. If you require delivery on a certain day please put this in the comments and we will aim to deliver on that day.
Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
