The Sunhouse Tubular Heaters which are thermostatically controlled, offer reduced running costs. With a low output & adjustable heat source, these heaters are suitable for a huge range of applications, including airing cupboards, shop windows and greenhouses.
Extremely versatile, fitted with brackets that can be wall or floor fitted. Pre-fitted with 1.5 metre cable and fitted with a UK plug. Maximum projection when mounted 80mm. These Tubular heaters also offer the option of built in, self-re-setting, over temperature cut-out.

Can you install tube heaters vertically?
No all tubular heaters must be installed horizontally on the wall or floor space. If a tube heater is installed vertically the heat will not distribute evenly, all the heat will simply rise to the top of the tube and eventually burn the element out!
Can you install the Sunhouse tubular heaters on the floor?
Yes tubular heaters can be installed on a floor space using the fixing brackets supplied; they are not to be placed directly on the floor without the brackets, natural air circulation must be able to circulate under and over the tubular heater!
How long are the tubular heater power cables?
The Sun house tubular heaters are pre-fitted with power lead and UK plugs at the factory they are roughly 1.5m = 5ft in length. Please note if the plugs are removed for any reason this may invalidate the warranty.
Can I use tubular heaters to dry clothes like socks and underwear?
No the tubes are not designed for drying clothes and should never be covered by clothing even with the guard fitted, the face temperature of the tube gets very hot and would simply burn clothing with a potential risk of causing a fire. Tubular heaters rely
Are the Sunhouse tubular heaters safe to use in lofts to protect water pipes from freezing?
Yes they are ideal for loft spaces, best to install the tube below the water pipes if you can and make sure they are protected with a guard to prevent anything from falling or landing of the face on the tube as they get very hot!
Can the Sunhouse tubular heaters be used outdoors?
Tubular heater can be used in outbuildings like Greenhouses, Garages, Cloakrooms, Offices, Workshops, Conservatories, Spare Rooms, Sheds, Boats, Toilets, Villas, Airing cupboards, Pet enclosures, Utility rooms, Porches, Wardrobes, Caravans, Offices, and Lofts; however they should not be used directly outside!
What do I need the tubular heater guard for?
Tubular heaters get very hot to touch >60C, therefore guards must be used if the tubular heater is fitted in wardrobes or where anyone or anything could fall on or come into contact with the hot surface of the tubular heater!

Delivery Charges
All deliveries have a standard charge of £7.99 + VAT up to 20kg. Where stated, certain products are delivered FREE of charge (mainland UK only*). Check the description of the desired product and if it says free delivery then you will not be charged for delivery*
Extra Charges
Where the weight is over 20kg we reserve the right to charge more dependent on product type and delivery postcode, our customer service team will be in touch and inform you of any extra charges before we despatch.
Delivery Times
All products will have a delivery time stated in their description. Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Please call if you require a Next Working Day and we will try our best to get it to you. Certain products will state within 48hrs, within 3 Days or within 5 days. These products will be delivered within the time stated. If you require delivery on a certain day please put this in the comments and we will aim to deliver on that day.
Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
