43D Low Surface Temperature Thermostatic Element
The low surface temperature towel rail element is recommended for use in care homes, hospitals, rented accommodation or anywhere that the general public may come in to direct contact with the heated rail. Turning on the 43D element will warm the towel radiator up to the pre-set temperature of approximately 43C. On the control panel the blue LED lights up to indicate the current (ON) status of the element. The element will automatically turn itself off until the temperature drops below 43C, and will continue to operate thermostatically.
The 43D also has a timer function button, this will activate the 2 hour timer and automatically turns itself "off" after 2 hours. The timer mode is indicated with a Eed LED light. Pressing the timer mode again will deactivate the timer function and revert back to standard heating mode 43C indicated by Blue LED. Automatic
The 43D has an antifreeze function, as long as the element is connected to the mains supply the temperature sensor continues to control heating at medium temperature. This means that the antifreeze function remains active when the heater is turned off. As soon as the temperature around the sensor drops below 6ºC the 43D will switch itself on and prevent the heating medium from freezing!

What is the warranty of the Element?
2 years on the electrical element.
What is the timer function used for?
Basically the LST element has an ON / OFF button and 2hr heating button. If the user wants to turn the towel rail OFF after using it in the morning for example they can use the 2 hour timer function which will continue to heat - dry towels for 2 hrs and then it will turn itself off automatically, indicated by the red LED light. After 2hrs the element will then revert to antifreeze mode if the 2 hr timer function is activated
Can this radiator be controlled by remote control?
No, not by remote control but it can be controlled via the Towel Radiator Thermostatic Control Plate, quick code 17808 product code: TCP200. Everything works in exactly the same way as the controls on the element. The 2hr boost button with the added benefit to use the full output of the element and also reduce the power in 20% steps. So if the element has a maximum output of 200W then the control plate can reduced this in 40 watts steps by pressing the minus button!
Can the element be tampered with to cause harm?
The elements cant be tampered with to cause any harm, the element has 2 functions - its either on indicated by blue LED light or its on the 2hr timer mode indicated by red LED light. Pressing the ON/OFF button again will cancel the timer mode function and revert back to 43C heating.
What if the element is turned off accidentally at the controls?
Providing there is power to the element, (hard wired) as soon as the temperature around the sensor falls below 6 °C the element will switch on automatically preventing the heating medium inside the radiator from freezing! Activation of ANTIFREEZE function is indicated by slow blue LED flashes every 3 seconds.

Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
