What are the wall to pipe centres?

The wall to pipe centres are 80-90mm.

Is there a flow and return?

No, the economiser fin is Bidirectional Flow & Return

Yes, the Economiser can be easily plumbed into your existing central heating system.

Is it suitable for all electric conversion?

Yes, please inquire for more details

If you are using standard radiator valves or valves purchased from our website then the pipe centres would be the width of the radiator plus 90mm - allow 45mm at both ends of the Economiser Finn!

7322190000

How long do the Finns take to heat up?

Very quickly, however the Economiser Finns are a large chunk of steel, the tubes are classed as Steam Tubes, with 3 mm gauge steel walls. Standard central heating radiators can be less than <1mm gauge steel so the heat transfer is quicker with standard radiators than fin radiators.

Can you install the Finns vertically?

Yes, you can install the Finns vertically, however please note when they are installed vertically the majority of the heat output will be lost to the ceiling.

Metal primer paint should always be applied first then finished with any heat resistant type radiator paint!

Are the Finns noisy when they are working?

Very silent, zero noise in operation!

What valves do I need for this radiator?

The Finn radiators have standard 1/2 BSP fittings so all types of radiator valves are suitable. If the Finn is installed horizontally then you will need angled valves if your pipes are coming from the floor or corner valves if your pipes are coming from the wall.

Can you make bespoke Finns?
