The blanket has a detatchable control unit which you can remove when you wash the blanket to keep it fresh and soft - the blanket can also be tumble dried on a low heat making it ready for use quickly again.
Every monogram by beurer heated throw will automatically switch off if a fault occurs to prevent overheating. This fail-safe system has been designed to ensure total peace of mind.
